Azerbaijan to export saved gas to Europe via TAP and TANAP

Azerbaijan to export saved gas to Europe via TAP and TANAP

Azerbaijan plans to reduce the gas loss to the comparative level of loss in Europea’s gas distributor, says the Strategic Road Map on Utility Services.

According to the document, apart from the losses in gas distributing, an effective activity will be provided by use of all consumers the gasometers at that time. This will allow to control the network and increase the charges.

At the same time, the gas saved from increase of effectiveness will be exported to Europe via TAP and TANAP.

The technical losses during the gas distributing are planned to be reduced by 8%.

These measures are planned to be taken after 2025.
