Moscow hosts jubilee concert for Polad Bulbuloghlu - PHOTOS
The concert was attended by Chairman of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin, Special Envoy for International Cultural Cooperation to the Russian President Mikhail Shvydkoy and other officials
A jubilee concert dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Azerbaijani ambassador to the Russian Federation, people’s artist, singer-composer Polad Bulbuloghlu has been held at the Moscow State Academic Philarmonic concert hall named after Tchaikovsky. Polad Bulbuloghlu, was accompanied by the Russian State Philharmonic Orchestra.

Host of the night, cultural figure and artist of Russia and Azerbaijan, musician, academic Jeanne Dozortseva spoke about the life of Polad Bulbuloghlu during her speech: “Polad’s father was his first teacher. Genius Bulbul taught his son how to love his people, motherland, and the art of his people because art represents a nation’s life and history. Polad can feel proud that the whole world knows him”.

Later on Polad Bulbuloghlu, who was welcomed with a storm of applause, expressed his gratitude to all the guests and his fans.

Polad Bulbuloghlu opened the concert with his song "Mənim Azərbaycanım" (My Azerbaijan), and then performed his popular songs.

The jubilee concert was attended by Chairman of the State Duma Sergey Naryshkin, Russian president’s special envoy for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy, member of the Federation Council Vitaly Ignatenko as well as other officials and renowned cultural figures.
