SOCAR Ukraine removed from tender groundlessly – state agency
Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has groundlessly removed SOCAR Ukraine from a tender held by Ukrainian State Reserve Agency, chairman of the State Agency Vadim Mosiychuk said.
The tender is held for purchase of 6 tonnes of fuel for jet engines. Total worth of the fuel makes up 126 million Hryvnias (UAH).

According to him, SOCAR Ukraine, VOG Aero Jet and Ukr Petrol appealed to participate in the tender. Ukr Petrol’s appeal was rejected and the company complained to the Antimonopoly Committee. The Committee removed SOCAR’s subsidiary from the tender and permitted Ukr Petrol to participate in the tender.

“The Committee says that company’s name in the bank application given to SOCAR Ukraine to participate in the tender was written in Russian. While, 104-page document has been drawn up in Ukrainian”, Mosiychuk said.

According to him, Ukrainian State Reserve Agency will strictly react to the Committee’s decision.
