Iran hopes for peaceful resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
Iran hopes for a peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict based on the norms and principles of international law.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif made remarks in Yerevan at a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian.

Zarif said Iran has always supported the establishment of peace and friendship between the regional countries.

“We want a peaceful solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and establishment of peace and friendship between the regional countries”, he stressed.

Nalbandian, in his turn, said Armenia praises Iran’s balanced stance on the Karabakh problem.
