“Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan tried a lot to attract the attention of some organizations to the conflict over the front line situation, but he now understands that it’s impossible and thus wants to pacify his people with the auto-rating method,” the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s press service said in response to question about the Armenian defense minister’s statements regarding the involvement of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in the conflict.

The Defense Ministry stated that it’s not the first time that Armenia has attempted to attract other states as well as international organizations to the conflict for support with its provocative acts.

“Therefore, Seyran Ohanyan’s statements about the CSTO’s involvement in the conflict is just another distress call of a sick imagination inflicted by inflammation,” the ministry said.

The Defense Ministry recalled that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have the right to fully liberate its occupied territories.

Considering trivial the latest rhetoric by Seyran Ohanyan on the front line situation following the statements of Serzh Sargsyan, the Defense Ministry stated that Ohanyan’s populist speech with full of threats to Azerbaijan is regarded as a step to distract the Armenian people’s attention from the dire situation in the country and army.

“The enemy must understand that the only way to solve the conflict is immediate and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from the occupied territories for implementation of requirements of the decisions and resolutions adopted by international organizations in accordance with the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Otherwise, the invaders will suffer further losses, and criminal Armenian military and political regime will bear full responsibility for all these and further provocations they will commit,” he added.
