Ukrainian Foreign Minister to meet with NATO Secretary General in Brussels
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin is expected to have a meeting on Jan.29 with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels, TASS reported referring to sources in the Ukrainian mission to NATO.
"In the course of the visit, Pavel Klimkin will hold a meeting with NATO Secretary General," a source said.

On January 26, an emergency session of the NATO-Ukraine commission at the level of ambassadors was convened to discuss the deteriorating situation in the southeast of the country. The Ukrainian ambassador to the North-Atlantic pact, Igor Dolgov said then his country had asked more military aid from ‘partners’, including NATO member-states.

"We continue cooperating with various countries including NATO members and we’ve asked for more military aid in case the situation deteriorates," he said, adding that NATO would not provide "lethal weapons" to Ukraine as a military-political bloc.
