President: France will continue its efforts for resolution of Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict lasting for 20 years
“France will continue its efforts for resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict lasting for 20 years,” French President Francois Hollande said at the annual meeting held by the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations in France.
Speaking about so-called "Armenian genocide" the President said that the hundredth anniversary will be a new gesture and state in recognition of the “genocide”: “It is time to remove bans. Yerevan welcomed that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan offered condolences to the family of Armenians who died in 1915 last year, but stated that it isn’t sufficient. Turkish and Armenian people needs to make a new start."

Hollande said that he would visit Yerevan on April 24, 2015.
