Azerbaijani diaspora is one of most active diasporas in country
Jewish and Azerbaijani diasporas are the most active diaspora organizations in the country, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said during his meeting with the leaders of societies representing ethnic peoples during the exhibition on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Holocaust in Kiev.
The Ukrainian prime minister praised the activities of the Jews and Azerbaijanis in the socio-political and humanitarian sphere, according to the press service of the Assembly of Nationalities of Ukraine (ANU).

During the meeting, A. Yatsenyuk, in particular, emphasized the role of head of the ANU, chairman of the Joint Congress of Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Rovshan Tagiyev and the head of the Ukrainian Jewish Forum Arkadiy Monastyrsky in humanitarian actions.

Along with this, the prime minister expressed his gratitude to the Assembly, and particularly to the Azerbaijanis living in the country for the humanitarian activity.

The head of the ANU in his turn told the prime minister that the Assembly, which includes up to 140 different diaspora structures, created a special group of experts who promote the development of interethnic relations, the mission of tolerance and regulation of the legal issues of ethnic peoples living in the country “We are the ethnic peoples, we want to see Ukraine`s future stable.”
