Defence Ministry Industry starts producing new reconnaissance vehicles

Defence Ministry Industry starts producing new reconnaissance vehicles

Enterprises of the Azerbaijani Defence Industry Ministry have created a new reconnaissance vehicle in the base of the Combat Reconnaissance/Patrol Vehicle (BRDM).

The statement came from Minister Yavar Jamalov.

He noted that the vehicle will increase the reconnaissance capacity of the army. The vehicle has been equipped with 23 millimeter cannon, two twin machine guns, grenade launcher, smoke emitting device and other staff.

The vehicle can destroy overland and air targets.
