Minister of Culture hopes for soonest resolution of Karabakh conflict
The Nagorno Karabakh conflict erupted as a result of the aggressive policy of our neighbor after the USSR collapse.
The four resolutions of UN have not been fulfilled yet, and this is not a surprise.

The statement came from Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Abulfas Garayev, while speaking at a news conference on the conduction of the Second World Forum on intercultural dialogue in Baku.

He said Azerbaijan is a peace-loving country where different ethnic groups, cultures and religions coexist in peace.

The minister said that Armenia holds a mono-ethnic policy.

Garayev said, Azerbaijan has repeatedly called on Armenia to withdraw from the occupied lands and return nearly a million of Azerbaijani refugees and displaced persons to their native lands.

“Our problems are associated solely with the aggressive position of Armenia against us. I do hope that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will find its solution in the nearest future, refugees will be able to return home and stability in the region will be restored”, the minister said.
