Armenian parliamentary meeting held amid protests

Armenian parliamentary meeting held amid protests

The Armenian parliament began the first meeting of the spring session, Armenian media reported Feb. 2.

Meanwhile, an action of protest against the value added tax law is being held in front of parliament. Demonstrators are calling for a meeting with the MPs.

On Jan. 31 the Armenian government decided to postpone the law until July 1, 2015 after numerous protests.
