Armenian taxi drivers to hold protest outside government building
The drivers of private taxi in Armenia intend to hold a protest Feb. 5 in front of a building of the Armenian government, the Armenia Today news agency reported Feb. 3.
The reason for the taxi drivers’ discontent is the change in the licensing procedure according to which, the yellow license plates will be again be changed to white ones, and the drivers will have to pay 12,000 drams per month.

The taxi drivers said that in the current circumstances, paying this amount will simply be impossible and the effect of this decision should be suspended.
