Shahin Mustafayev stressed that the declaration signed between the two countries on strategic cooperation opens opportunities for the development of relations in all spheres, as well as in economic field.
The parties tackled possible ways to enhance collaboration in trade and economic spheres between the States and increase in trade turnover, new potential areas of bilateral partnership.
The sides noted that the level of economic and trade cooperation has a great potential for the development.
Among the promising areas for deepening interaction, Volodymyr Groysman and Shahin Mustafayev, in particular, singled out mechanical engineering, aircraft construction, chemical industry, agriculture and tourism, including medical tourism.
In turn, Volodymyr Groysman expressed Ukraine's interest in the development of cooperation with Azerbaijan, stressing successful cooperation between the two countries in various sectors of the economy.
The sides also exchanged views on the prospects for expansion of economic relations and other issues of mutual interest.
Within his visit to Ukraine, Azerbaijan’s minister also met with Taras Kutovyi, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of this country. The two discussed relations in agricultural sphere, as well as processing of agricultural products, food processing and cooperation in the fields of investment in the agricultural parks.
