Azerbaijani Defense Minister: Armenians frightened, in panic after recent blows to them - PHOTOS
“Armenia’s economy is paralyzed and about to collapse, and the army is almost dissolving”

The newly-built military unit equipped with modern facilities has been inaugurated on the frontline.

The leadership of the Defense Ministry attended the opening of the military unit and reviewed the newly-commissioned headquarters, barrack-rooms, training complex, ammunition depot, sentry town, square for line-up, canteen, medial station, heating system and other facilities.

Speaking before the military personnel, Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov said that thanks to the care and attention of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to military build-up the activities have recently been carried out in order to strengthen combat and moral-psychological readiness of the personnel, improve living conditions of the personnel and consolidate the material-technical base.

Under the order of Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, according to the Defense Minister, the works implemented in this regard in 2014 will be continued this year as well. Zakir Hasanov added that the personnel of the Armed Forces too must justify the state leadership’s confidence in us and increase their combat readiness on a constant basis in order to liberate our occupied lands from the enemy.

“Large-scale exercises demonstrate the power and strength our army. Apart from the combat vehicles, aviation, rocket-artillery hardware, etc. involved in the exercises, I would like to specially note the personnel’s high spirit, patriotic determination, professionalism and readiness. The invader is frightened after recent blows inflicted on them. They are in panic. Armenia’s economy is paralyzed and about to collapse, and the army is almost dissolving. The enemy must understand that the only way out for them is to leave occupied Azerbaijani lands. Otherwise, our Armed Forces will fulfill the holy duty before our people and state – the liberation of our lands from occupation,” said the minister.

After the personnel passed by the tribune with ceremonial march, the Defense Ministry’s leadership sat at a dinner table along with servicemen.

The personnel of a military unit located near the front line assured the Defense Ministry leadership that the attention and care provided to them and the most up-to-date conditions created for service will inspire them to continue to be ready to fulfill any order by the supreme commander-in-chief.
