Inmate found hanged in Armenia prison cell

A prisoner on Friday was found hanged in his cell at Hrazdan penitentiary in Armenia.

According to preliminary assumption, inmate Paylak Gevorgyan, 22, had committed suicide, Public Relations Department of the Criminal Executive Service told reporters on Saturday, AzVision.az reports citing News.am.

He had been charged with fraud, and jailed on April 1.
