EU special representative, Armenian FM discuss escalation of tension on frontline
Herbert Salber, the European Union (EU) Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, on Monday met with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian as part of his visit to the country.
During the talks, the sides mulled the escalation of tension on the frontline.

Salber, in his turn, reaffirmed the EU’s assistance to the Minsk Group co-chairs’ efforts to achieve a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The EU special representative’s spokesperson told APA that Salber will not arrive in Baku as he visited Azerbaijan in mid-January.

“In Armenia he will meet with senior officials to discuss a peaceful solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict”.
