Turkey supports peaceful solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

Turkey supports peaceful solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

"Turkey support and will support a peaceful solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan as soon as possible", said Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coskun.

The ambassador said Turkey stills supports the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.

"Turkey is already a member of the Minsk Group. Either as a member of the Minsk Group or the Republic of Turkey, we have always worked toward an early settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Official discussions are not yet underway on Turkey`s involvement in negotiations as a co-chairing state. I can only say that Turkey together with Azerbaijan has done and will do its utmost for completion of this injustice, increase of the world community’s awareness on this issue and end of the occupation as soon as possible as well as the restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity”, the ambassador noted.
