According to Ministry, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev put forward an initiative to hold the meeting in Baku.
The head of state gave task to the Energy Ministry to carry out the works on the organization of meeting of the Advisory Board.
Concrete recommendations on implementation, management and current situation of the Southern Gas Corridor will be made at the meeting. The meeting is expected to be attended by delegations led by the Ministers of participant countries of the Southern Gas Corridor – Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Greece, Albania, Italy, Bulgaria, Vice-President of European Commission for Energy, representations of IFC, EBRD, SOCAR, BP-Azerbaijan, TANAP, TAP and other international organizations.
