This was discussed at a meeting on the results of the exercises held under the supervision of Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, with the participation of the senior personnel of the Defense Ministry and the armed forces, commanders, chiefs of staffs and officers of military units, the ministry said Feb. 9.
Addressing the meeting, the defense minister, analyzed the shootings carried out in conditions resembling the combat conditions to the maximum extent, praised the level of combat readiness and professionalism of the staff.
The minister noted the importance of such exercises.
The command staff was given appropriate instructions.
