Baku 2017: Azerbaijani athletes grab gold medals - UPDATED
Azerbaijani swimmer Maksym Shemberev has won a gold medal in men’s 400m individual medley at the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku.
His result was 4:16,56.

Turkey’s Batuhan Hakan won a silver medal, while Indonesia’s Aflah Prawira came in third and won a bronze medal in men’s 400m individual medley.

Azerbaijani gymnast Yuliya Inshina has won a gold medal in the floor finals at the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku.

She scored 13.100 in the finals.

Turkey’s Goksu Uctas Sanli (13.050) won a silver medal and Demet Mutlu (12.700) won bronze.

Azerbaijani artistic gymnast Bence Talas has won a gold medal in the pommel horse finals at the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku.

He scored 14.250 in the finals.

Silver went to Iran’s Saeedreza Keikha (14.200 points) and bronze went to Qatar’s Ahmed Aldyani (13.600 points).

Azerbaijani artistic gymnast Bence Talas has won his second gold medal at the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku.

He scored 14.000 in the horizontal bar finals of Baku 2017.

Turkey’s Ferhat Arican won silver by scoring 13.250 and Ahmet Onder with 13.200 points won bronze.



The Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games started May 8 and will last until May 22 in Azerbaijan’s capital.
