The Azerbaijani parliament confirmed the changes to memo of mutual understanding envisaging the cancellation of visa regime for the holders of diplomatic passports between the governments of Azerbaijan and United Arab Emirates.

Samad Seyidov called this document important in connection with the policy for expansion of the international relations of Azerbaijan.
"Currently, the owners of the diplomatic and special passports of nearly 30 countries enjoy visa-free regime with Azerbaijan", he said.
He noted that the application of visa-free regime will become an impetus for reaching a new stage in development of cooperation of our country with United Arab Emirates.
