Azerbaijani expert included in committee due to appoint personnel to key economic positions in Ukraine
An Azerbaijani expert has been included to the committee established by the Cabinet of Ministers to appoint personnel to key economic positions in Ukraine
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has established a committee on the appointment of personnel to key economic institutions and approved the candidacy of five overseas experts for the committee. Regional Manager of the World Bank Group’s investment division International Finance Corporation for Ukraine and Belarus Rufat Alimardanov was also involved in the committee.

The other experts are Director of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for Ukraine Sevki Acuner (Turkey), World Bank Director for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine Qimiao Fan (China), Business Ombudsman, former Lithuanian Finance Minister Algirdas Šemeta and American President of Kyiv School of Economics George Logush. The Committee includes representatives from the ministries of economic development, finance, infrastructure, coal energy and agrarian policy.

Regional Manager of the International Finance Corporation for Ukraine and Belarus Rufat Alimardanov has previously worked in Moscow for several years as the chief investment advisor at the cooperation’s Department for Central and Eastern Europe. He started working at the International Finance Corporation in 1997. He has studied at the Texas Christian University and University of Texas at Austin. He obtained an MBA degree and holds a CFA certificate.
