Germany supports Georgia in European integration

The Georgian government’s press service told Trend Feb. 14 that the parties discussed the friendly and partner relations of the two countries and the prospects for deepening them.

They also highlighted the progress achieved by Georgia in the European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

PM Garibashvili spoke about the process of implementation of the association agreement and NATO’s substantial package, as well as about the reforms carried out in the country.

Lammert, for his part, positively assessed the reforms envisaged by the association agreement, and reiterated the German side’s readiness to assist Georgia in the European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

The partied also discussed the regional security issues.
