Erdogan favors extension of emergency rule in Turkey
The National Security Council of Turkey will hold a discussion on the state of emergency in the country on Sunday, President Erdogan said on Friday.
The president made the remarks at a panel session held at the Ankara Chamber of House (ATO) in connection with the first anniversary of the July 15 coup attempt in Turkey that failed to overthrow the legitimate government, AzVision.az reports citing the Turkish media.

Erdogan said he is in favor of extending the state of emergency in the country.

“I believe that the issue of extending the state of emergency will be supported at the meeting of the National Security Council,” he added.
