Georgia, US prepare for joint drills with NATO Rapid Reaction Force
Final conference on planning of joint Georgian-US drills "Noble Partner" took place at the 4th Mechanized Brigade based in Vaziani near Tbilisi, the Georgian defense ministry told on Feb.20.
The Noble Partner drills will be held in Georgia for the first time. Their goal is the convergence of Georgian company with NATO Rapid Reaction Force, as well as preparation for participation in future operations and drills of NATO.

The conference was attended by Chief of the General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces Major-General Vakhtang Kapanadze. He thanked the US guests for the work done and wished success to the Georgian units.

Georgian-US drills Noble Partner will be held in May, 2015 at the military airport and Vaziani training ground. The company Alpha of the 12th battalion of the first infantry brigade, a mechanized company of 42nd Battalion of the Fourth Mechanized Brigade and the military police platoon will take part in the drills from the Georgian side, and the companies of armored personnel carriers of M2 Bradley and paratroopers from the US side.
