The More the Better: Kim Jong Un Wants N Korean Army to Conduct More Drills
Kim Jong Un urged North Korean armed forces to conduct more military drills and enhance training so that only resolute and iron-willed fighters protect the country from potential foes, according to South Korean media.
North Korea said it wanted to suspend nuclear tests as long as the US agrees to cancel joint military exercises with South Korea

The North Korean leader made the remarks after the latest exercises DPRK conducted close to the border with South Korea. Kim Jong Un personally supervised the drills aimed at striking and capturing an island following an enemy attack.

The exact venue where the military exercises were held was not reported. The North Korean news agency, KCNA, allegedly described it only "as the biggest hotspot in the southernmost part of southwestern front," as quoted by Yonhap.

They took place ahead of annual US – South Korea joint drills, known as Key Resolve/Foal Eagle, set to be conducted next month.
