Azerbaijan reduces car import by over one third
Azerbaijan imported 4,090 vehicles in January 2015 compared to 6,477 vehicles in January 2014, according to the statistics report of the State Customs Committee.
Some 3,870 cars out of the total volume of imported vehicles were cars and motor vehicles used for transportation, the report said. In January 2014, the figure was 5,925 cars.

Some 146 trucks were imported to the country in January 2015 versus 512 trucks in January 2014. The remainder of the imported cars accounted for other vehicles.

Some 63,368 vehicles were imported to Azerbaijan in 2014 against 104,385 vehicles imported in 2013.
