Several members of British Parliament
everal members of the British Parliament’s House of Lords have sent a letter to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
In their letter, members of the House of Lords expressed their solidarity with the people of Azerbaijan on the eve of the 23rd anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.
“On the eve of this sad anniversary, we share the sorrow of the Azerbaijani people and support your unremitting efforts aimed at resolving the conflict on the basis of the withdrawal of the Armenian Armed Forces from Azerbaijan’s occupied lands,” said the letter.
The letter was signed by members of the British Parliament’s House of Lords Lord David Evans, Baroness Detta O`Cathain, Lord Richard Risby, Lord Michael German, Lord Anthony Saint John, Viscount Trenchard, and Baroness Zahida Manzoor.
