David Jalaganiya: So far, there is no progress in delimitation and demarcation of Georgian-Azerbaijani border
“Unfortunately, there is no progress in the delimitation and demarcation of Georgian-Azerbaijani border so far. We are looking forward to my counterpart Khalaf Khalafov’s visit to Georgia”, said David Jalaganiya, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Chairman of the Commission for Delimitation and Demarcation of Azerbaijani-Georgian border.

Jalaganiya said that though there were many changes in the ministry, he is himself engaged in the delimitation issue. “160-kilometer part of the borders between our countries hasn’t been delimited thus far. The issues regarding the areas of mutual interest still remain unsolved. We should consider the mutual interests in order to successfully complete the delimitation”, he said.
