Moscow and Ankara may resolve the issue of Turkish tomato exports to Russia by Oct. 20, Russian news agencies cited Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak as saying on Friday, Reuters reported.
Moscow will prepare by Sept. 13 its proposals regarding the resumption of Turkish deliveries of tomatoes to Russia, Novak added.
Russia banned Turkish tomato imports after Turkey shot down a Russian jet near the Syrian border in 2015. Ties between Ankara and Moscow have largely normalised since although the ban remains in place.
