Israeli Foreign Minister to attend event on Khojaly genocide
The Israel-Azerbaijan International Association (AZIZ) is holding a series of events in Israel on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of Khojaly genocide.
The State Committee for Work with Diaspora told that the Association will hold a commemorative event on Khojaly genocide with the participation of Azerbaijani and Israeli public figures in Acre tomorrow within the "Justice for Khojaly" campaign.

AZIZ told that Israeli Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, member of the Knesset Avigdor Lieberman, President of AZIZ, member of Knesset Alex Miller, MP, representative of "Justice for Khojaly" campaign Fuad Muradov, other officials, as well as representatives of the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Israel will attend the event.

The event will cover speeches about the Khojaly genocide, occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Armenia, Armenian atrocities, film about the tragedy and discussions on recognition of the genocide by the world community.

The center of the Azerbaijani culture in Afula under AZIZ will also hold a commemorative event on Khojaly genocide.

The Israel-Azerbaijan International Association was founded in 2007. The constituent congress and a number of events of the association were held with support of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora. Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Avigdor Lieberman has always highly-estimated the activities of AZIZ and attended a number of events held on the initiative of the association.

The Israel-Azerbaijan International Association is carrying out several projects to inform the Israeli community about the Azerbaijani realities within "Justice for Khojaly" campaign.
