Azerbaijani Central Bank prepares new Value-at-Risk econometric model
The Azerbaijani Central Bank (CBA) is preparing a new Value-at-Risk (VaR) econometric model, CBA deputy chairman Khagani Abdullayev told the media today.
"The central bank regularly works to expand economic research," he said. "Currently, the CBA created about 10 econometric models of various sorts, including ones for inflation. The work towards the creation of value-at-risk model is expected to be completed in November 2013. Afterwards, it will be presented."

According to Abdullayev, the bank is integrating the similar models on the employment of the population, as well as the financial sector of the economy. This will allow examining the mutual influence of employment and inflation.
