UN Security Council needs renewing
"This organization does not reflect the world
The UN Security Council does not represent today’s realities.

This was stated by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, APA reported.

According to him, the UN Security Council was established after the Second World War.

“The documents adopted and organizations created there emerged right after the war, but unfortunately it does not represent today’s realities. It needs changing. The UN Security Council has 5 permanent members. The decision of one of them is unlikely to bring an end to the Syrian conflict. The fate of the entire world rests with one country’s word.

The UN Security Council is losing trust, and it will bring about its self-destruction. Is there anyone representing Africa there? There isn’t. I do not want to discriminate in religion, but this organization must represent all. This organization does not reflect the world’s realities. It needs renewing and being just,” he stressed.
