"Appeal court" of separatist Nagorno Karabakh regime to issue verdict on Azerbaijani hostages on March 10
The “court” of the separatist regime created in occupied Azerbaijani territories on Feb 26 started the hearing to consider the appeal filed against the verdict on the case of Azerbaijani hostages Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev.

The hostages Asgarov and Guliyev, as well as their attorneys Erik Beglaryan and Arkadi Israelyan are attending the hearing.

It was said that the Azerbaijanis would be provided with Russian-language interpreter.

The verdict of the “appeal court” of the separatist Nagorno Karabakh regime regarding Azerbaijani hostages Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev will be announced on March 10.

In July 2014, Russian citizen Dilgam Asgarov and Azerbaijani citizen Shahbaz Guliyev were taken hostage by the Armenians on their way to visit their relatives’ graves in Kalbajar, another Azerbaijani citizen, IDP from Jabrayil district Hasan Hasan was shot dead. Hasanov’s body was taken from the opposing side and buried in Baku.

On 19 December 2014, the “court” of the separatist regime in Nagorno-Karabakh sentenced Dilgam Asgarov to life in prison and Shahbaz Guliyev to 22 years.
