SOCAR sells 1.4 million tonnes of gasoline, 1.2 million tonnes of diesel in Azerbaijan

Employees of the enterprises of SOCAR’s oil refinery complex produced 1,368,400 tonnes of gasoline, 595,600 tonnes of jet fuel, 1,681,900 tonnes of diesel, 262,200 tonnes of furnace oil, 197,100 tonnes of bitumen, 220,900 tonnes of coke and other products from 5,817,500 tonnes of crude oil refined from September 2016 to September 2017, SOCAR Vice-President for Refining David Mammadov said in his article in Iki Sahil magazine.
“During the reporting period, 4,216,700 tonnes of oil products were sold in the domestic market, of which 1,403,500 tonnes were gasoline, 573,500 tonnes jet fuel, 1,221,900 tonnes diesel and 1,017,800 tonnes liquid oil, bitumen, furnace oil and others. Moreover, 1,206,100 tonnes of oil products were exported. These products included jet fuel (70,000 tonnes), diesel (660,600 tonnes), petroleum coke (214,100 tonnes) and other products (261,400 tonnes)”, he said.
