High-ranking person beat journalist in Armenia

High-ranking person beat journalist in Armenia

Another case of journalist's beating has been recorded in Armenia, AzVision.az reports citing the Armenian media.

Head of the Karaglukh community of Vayots Dzor province, Artur Stepanyan and director of the medical cente of Shadin community, Zoya Martirosyan attacked contributor of Armday.am website, Paylak Farhadyan.

Incident happened in the medical centre of Shadin community.

The director of the medical centre got furious when the journalist touched the issues of death documents and getting money for free medicaments. As a result of incident, the journalist was beaten and his camera was taken. Afterwards, they kept the journalist in close place.
