Mitja Bervar told journalists that the visit aims at contributing the relations between two countries in a number of fields, including sports, culture, information and economy.
The delegation will hold several meetings with officials during the visit. The State Council chairman said that they would attend the opening of several facilities and sign some agreements. Then, the president of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia will also pay a visit to Azerbaijan.
The visit will last till March 5.
