Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan was caught on video sleeping at the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State which was held on October 11 in Sochi, AzVision.az reports.

Sleeping at a meeting which is of utmost importance for the region is disrespectful act against the Sochi summit which is held in regard with Putin’s invitation. The video presents that Sargsyan has not listened to the speeches. Instead, he fell asleep while Tajikistan's Emomali Rahmon was delivering a speech. It is not the first time that Sargsyan falls asleep at official meetings. Besides, he drew attract to himself for nodding off at some meetings.

Armenian President has been at the top of the agenda for falling asleep during the summit of the heads of CIS states which was held in Minsk, Belarus and the meeting of the OSCE. In addition, he was asleep during the 4th plenary session of the Euronest PA which was held in Yerevan on March 16-20, 2015. Five of “Eastern Partnership” countries and 60 European Parliament delegations attended that event.

Some claim that, Serzh Sargsyan’s sleep problem is associated with drug abuse. His interview to famous Russian journalist, Vladimir Posner backed these claims. He only gave “yes” and “no” answers to the questions by the journalist. Furthermore, he laughed while answering the questions.

There are many facts about Sargsyan's strange behaviors. One of them was happened during Pope Francis's visit to Yerevan. According ethical issues, a guest should sit down first during the official reception. However, Sargsyan misses the ethic rules and sits before the Pope. This was harshly criticized in the world mass media outlets and was assessed as a disrespect towards Pope Francis.

Besides, the Armenian parliamentarians don't respect the head of the state, too. For example, when Sargsyan makes speech at the parliament after successful presidential election results, members of parliament ignore his speech and take selfie. interestingly, Sargsyan was talking about Armenia's stable "development".

When it comes to development, praising the new technologies used in the election, Sargsyan became dispirited when he casts his ballot. The machine for authentication did not recognize the President`s fingerprint.
