Electronic admission into first classes starts in Baku
Electronic admission into first classes of secondary schools has today started in Baku.
The Ministry of Education decided to carry out the admission process to the first classes of primary schools, lyceums and gymnasiums in Baku from the 2015/2016 academic year in order to create optimal and efficient mechanism of implementation for admission.

The registration of parents’ (other legal representatives’) electronic applications in this system for admission to the first classes in the primary schools will be available on www.mektebeqebul.edu.az website from March 5 till September 15. The registration will be conducted by parents (other legal representatives) online or in the commissions for electronic document admission at every school or alternative commissions for electronic document admission in administrative districts of Baku upon their request.

E-application process for institutions, lyceums and gymnasiums admitting children to first classes through competition will be held from March 15 to April 15, exams will be held from April 15 to May 15.

According to the results of the competition, parents (other legal representatives) of the children not admitted to those lyceums and gymnasiums have the right to choose a secondary school again on the electronic system. Parents (other legal representatives) of the children with special talents who will be 6 from September 16 to December 31 will submit e-applications to institutions, lyceums and gymnasiums from March 15 to April 15, to secondary schools from July 1 to 31.

The children will be interviewed by the Commission established in every administrative district of Baku under the "rules on admission the talented children to the first classes" From July 13 to 31.
