President: Azerbaijan’s investments in Turkey must reach $20B

President: Azerbaijan’s investments in Turkey must reach $20B

Privileged trade agreement signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey is of great importance. This will support increase of trade turnover, President of Azerbaijan Iham Aliyev said at the 6th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.

According to him, Azerbaijan has invested $10 billion in Turkey so far and Turkey $11 billion in Azerbaijan: “These investments will increase. Azerbaijan’s investments in Turkey must reach $20 billion”.

The President stressed that energy transport issues have been discussed at today’s meeting: “All issues laying ahead of us have been solved. There is not any problem in TANAP. This project will be completed soon. Yesterday, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars was launched. This is our success and victory. All projects in which Turkey and Azerbaijan participate are being implemented”
