OSCE Secretary General discusses Russia
Georgian Foreign Minister Tamar Beruchashvili met with OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier in Tbilisi March 9, News-Georgia reported.
Special attention was paid to Russia’s signing of the so-called treaties with the representatives of the separatist regime.

Beruchashvili said that Russia`s actions are totally contrary to the norms and principles of the international law.

Russia and the de facto authorities of the Tskhinvali region signed an agreement on the state border on February 18. On January 23, the Russian State Duma ratified the agreement on the alliance and strategic partnership between Russia and Abkhazia signed on November 24, 2014. Moreover, the Russian authorities intend to formalize an agreement on the alliance and integration with Tskhinvali.

Zannier arrived in Georgia March 8. As part of the visit, which will end on March 11, Zannier will meet with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, President Georgi Margvelashvili, as well as with the representatives of the legislative body.
