Armenians to take part in European Games in Baku

Armenians to take part in European Games in Baku

The Armenian National Olympic Committee has made a statement

Armenia is to take part in the inaugural European Games due in Baku. However, they will make the decision about their participation independently. This decision was adopted at the session of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia, News.am reports.

Head coach of the national team of Armenia in Greco-Roman wrestling, Olympic champion Levon Julfalakyan and the Wrestling Federation of Armenia have spoken against the trip to Baku.

Armenian Minister of Sports Gabriel Kazaryan called the participation of Armenian sportsmen in European Games to be mandatory.
