Rapporteur of the Political Committee of PACE to pay visit to Azerbaijan.
Rapporteur of the Political Committee of PACE will pay an assesment visit to Azerbaijan on 12-13 March within the preparation of the report on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, 1news.az reports citing the website of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
During his visit Robert Walter (UK) plans to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Parliament Speaker Oktay Asadov and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, Minister of Justice Fikret Mammadov and Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov.
Also the visit includes meetings with the Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, the leaders of the parliamentary political parties and members of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE.
Robert Walter will meet with refugees and IDPs themselves, representatives of civil society working on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as representatives of the international community in Baku
