Law abolishing posts of state adviser and PA deputy head takes effect
Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on application of the law “On amendments to the Law of the republic of Azerbaijan on public service”.
According to the amendments, the post of state adviser was removed from the highest classification of administrative positions, and the post of deputy head of the Presidential Administration from the first classification in Article 11 of the Law “On Public Service” (Classification of administrative and auxiliary positions).

The draft amendments were adopted at the parliament’s plenary session on October 31, 2017.

The institution of state adviser and the post of deputy head of the Presidential Administration were abolished a while ago.
