Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov informed President Ilham Aliyev of the conditions created here.

The construction of the complex started in June 2012, and ended this November. All necessary infrastructure has been created at the complex which occupies a total area of five hectares.

The complex features wrestling and judo, boxing, weightlifting gyms, as well as a 937-seat universal sports halls.

The sport complex also includes table tennis and billiard courts, gym and fitness halls, a summer cafe, shop, booking office, rooms for supervisors, coaches, and referees, and a number of other rooms.

The complex also houses a 810-seat football stadium, as well as mini football, volleyball pitches and tennis courts.

The Olympic Sport Complex features a 50-seat state-of-the-art hotel.

After touring the complex, President Ilham Aliyev met with representatives of the district's general public and local athletes, and posed for photographs together with them.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today attended the inauguration of a bread and flour plant in Aghjabadi district.

Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev informed the head of state that there are more than 160 bread plants in Azerbaijan with 2,200 tons of daily production capacity.

The bread and flour plant in Aghjabadi district covers a total area of six hectares. The facility consists of two production areas.

The National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support under the Ministry of Economy allocated a 1.4 million manats preferential loan for the construction of the plant with a total cost of four million manats.

The daily production capacity of the plant is 20 tons. The plant manufactures seven types of bread and 20 types of flour products.

President Aliyev launched the facility, watched the production process and viewed the finished products.

As part of his visit to Aghjabadi district, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev has viewed the conditions created at a military unit of the Ministry of Defense.

Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov reported to Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.

The headquarters, military hostels, a canteen, medical point and other necessary buildings were built in the military unit. The headquarters has service rooms and a conference hall. All conditions have been created here.

President, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev visited the military hostels and viewed the social and living conditions created for the personnel.

President Ilham Aliyev was also informed about an interactive training and practice system.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the inauguration of a 100-seat orphanage-kindergarten No 4 in Aghjabadi district, whose construction was initiated by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The three-storey building was supplied with all necessary equipment. All conditions were created here for children. Amusement facilities were installed and green areas laid out in the yard of the orphanage-kindergarten.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, having completed his visit to Tartar, has arrived in Aghjabadi district for a visit.

The head of state laid flowers at a statue of the national leader in the Heydar Aliyev Park in the center of the city of Aghjabadi.


Head of Aghjabadi District Executive Authority Shahin Mammadov informed President Aliyev of the landscaping work carried out around the statue and in the district.

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Museum of History and Local Lore in the country’s Aghjabadi district on November 28 after major overhaul.

The president viewed the conditions created in the museum. It was noted that the museum has been operating since 1980.
