Azerbaijan to send export mission to UAE
An export mission of Azerbaijani entrepreneurs will visit Dubai Dec. 3-7, the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry said in a message Nov. 29.
The mission will include representatives of 20 Azerbaijani companies operating in the fields of fruit juice, mineral water, fruit and vegetable production, manufacture of dried fruits, canned foods, meat and meat products, honey, tea, milk and dairy products, according to the message.

Fruit and vegetable products’ manufacturers that are part of the export mission will also participate in the International Perishables Expo Middle East (WOP Dubai), the biggest specialized exhibition in the countries of the Middle East to be held Dec. 5-7. A seminar and bilateral meetings will be also held within the framework of the exhibition.

Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with the UAE for 10 months of 2017 amounted to $29.28 million, which is 2.1 times less than in the same period last year, according to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan. At the same time, the export of Azerbaijani products to the UAE grew 58.5 percent as compared to late October last year.
