"We have been closely cooperating with Azerbaijan since 1994. We enjoy the long-standing relationship which can be considered one of the important relations in the South Caucasus. We are happy to cooperate within the framework of "NATO Days” has been holding in Azerbaijan for 9 years. We appreciate Azerbaijan’s cooperation with NATO missions and operations. Azerbaijan proves itself as an important part of the NATO programs. Military relations between Azerbaijan and NATO are on the high level. Azerbaijan actively participates in NATO-initiated Education and Training operations and joint programs for the experts, told Schwab.
“Main aim of our visit is to monitor the successfully cooperated areas in Azerbaijan. We have held fruitful meetings with Azerbaijani military experts. We discussed the security issues and possible fields to deepen future bilateral relations,” he concluded.
