"The co-chairs have repeatedly stated that status quo must be changed" - President Aliyev
"One-fifth of Azerbaijani territories are under occupation. Armenia has carried out ethnic cleansing in the occupied territories,” President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in his speech at the 7th Ministerial Conference, titled “Security and Economic Connectivity towards a Strengthened Heart of Asia Region.”
The head of the state said that the OSCE has sent a mission to the occupied territories twice.

"Our residential areas and mosques have been destroyed. The status quo must be changed. The co-chairs have repeatedly stated this. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should be resolved within the UN Security Council resolutions and international law."

President Ilham Aliyev noted that Afghanistan's security will, on the whole, serve security in the region.

"We must respond to the security challenges Afghanistan is faced with. Azerbaijan is ready to share its experience with Afghanistan on a bilateral level. We support Afghanistan through our armed forces and trainings,” said Ilham Aliyev.
