Mamnoon Hussain then visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity and put a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
A military orchestra of the Defense Ministry played the national anthems of Pakistan and Azerbaijan. The Pakistani president was informed about the history of the Alley of Martyrs and reconstruction work underway in Baku.
