Azerbaijan to up its contribution to UN Central Emergency Response Fund

Azerbaijan and seven other countries are ready to increase their contribution to the UN Central Emergency Response Fund, the UN website reported on Dec.11.
"36 donors pledged $383 million to the Fund. Furthermore, Azerbaijan and seven other countries announced intention to increase their contribution compared to last year. These donors are Australia, Azerbaijan, Russian Federation, Estonia and Mongolia. However, this amount is far from the requested $1 billion," the report reads.
